U is for Umbrella-less
My first year in Utah was a very rainy year. Most days I'd get a ride home from school with the neighbors, but on the afternoons where there was a light drizzle, I'd walk home by myself, face turned up to the rain. Everything was more settled on those days, with sounds and lights muted. Also, it was a fitting backdrop for my embarrassing emo phase.

Ha! I love that you had an emo phase! So did I!
Just kidding. I would never have had an embarrasing emo phase. Plus, I'm like 12 years older than you, and we just called emo, "goth."
Oh hooray for emo phases! Mine was when I was about 12 and I listen to a lot of Avril Lavigne and painted my nails navy blue.

LOL!! Too funny ;)
When I was in Orem a few weeks ago, the morning after Halloween was when that cold front came in. The clouds were the thickest and most rippling I've ever seen, the wind was crisp and cool, and the light rain was just like you described it. *shivers*
Oh, yes, and I love your 'Email Me' doily. Is that new, or did I just miss it before?
My first year at LSU was really rainy, too. I never had an umbrella, and I lost a flip flop in a torrential downpour. *shrugs*
